Our 4-inch stainless steel grates fit our 4-inch plastic trench drains. The grates are pedestrian load class rated. Each segment is 39 ¼ inches long by 5 ⅜ at the surface and 4 inches wide at the inset that fits snugly atop the trench drain by ⅞ inches deep (dimensions below are rounded up—see drawing). The grates provide 40 square inches of water intake area. The opening sizes meet ADA/Heel proof requirements
