What are they made of
The 12x12 NEO catch basins are made from plastic, with grating options available in plastic, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and ductile iron. All accessories for the system are made from plastic.
What is the difference between a NEO basin and normal catch basins
The 12x12 NEO basin is the new design by Vodaland that focuses on easier installation, cost-effectiveness, and versatility in all applications. While it functions the same as a our normal catch basins, it does so at a cheaper price without compromising quality. The only feature lacking from the NEO basins compare to our normal basins are the ability to stack units using the stackable basin method. However, risers can be used to increase the depth of the unit within your surface.
What accessories are available for the NEO basins
Vodaland's 12" x 12" NEO basins are available with 4 different accessories:
- Debris basket: For filtering debris that is collected by the basin
- Partition: For acting similar to a P-trap in preventing fumes from re-entering through your piping.
- Mounting brackets: For suspending on rebar supports to make installation easier.
- Riser: For increasing the depth at which the basin sits within your surface
All accessories are sold separately but strongly recommended for all applications.
Available load classes for our 12x12 NEO Catch basins:
Load Class A - pedestrian foot traffic
Load Class B - Residential vehicle traffic (no parking) and yard equipment
Load Class C - Commercial vehicle traffic, residential vehicle parking, buses, and medium duty commercial equipment.
