What is the difference between this system and the other types of slot drains?

While our other slot drains feature a steel slot with a plastic channel, the mini channel drain is a complete stainless-steel system. Due to the slot and channel being all-in-one, the system functions at a much smaller size, which is a huge benefit to projects that are limited on space. The system has many part options, which allow for greater customizability as well.

What is different between this slot cover and the original version?

We offer covers for all of our slot drain systems so that customers can prevent risk of injury on the openings. The difference between these covers and our normal slot drain covers is that the cover can be easily removed from the slot, even after install. While our normal slot cover fits over the slot, this slot cover fits within so that the encasing concrete doesn’t limit its movement.

Do I need connectors and mounting brackets?

The connectors and mounting brackets are both necessary to the installation of a mini trench drain system. The connectors are sold separately and must be used to connect channels together. The mounting brackets are also sold separately and are used to support the slot drain while the encasing concrete is poured.

What outlet options do I have?

The possible outlets for this system are through the end-caps or through a catch basin. Customers can order an open end-cap which features a 2” horizontal outlet. Customers can also connect their mini channel drain to a catch basin, which features a 4” vertical outlet from under the basin.
