Drain à fente en acier galvanisé
Notre système de drain à fente en acier galvanisé a une longueur standard de 3,3 pieds. Une fente en acier galvanisé se connecte à un canal en plastique de base de 4 pouces. La profondeur d'un canal dépend de votre choix : 2", 3", 4", 6" et 8". La taille de l'ouverture de la grille est de 5/8" et elle s'élargit pour s'adapter au canal. Applications : piscines, balcons, porches et tout ce où vous souhaitez éviter les grilles standard. Parfait pour les coulées de béton, la pierre, les pavés, les carreaux.
Why galvanized steel? What type of galvanized steel is it?
Galvanized steel provides partial corrosion and chemical resistance to the steel while not diminishing the cost effectiveness of the product. Galvanized steel is a steel coated in zinc, which is done through a process of hot-dipping. Once dipped, the steel is protected from outside environments and weathers at a very slow rate.
How does galvanized steel react with pool chemicals?
The zinc layer provides great resistance against pool chemicals, but it will eat away at the coating over time. For complete resistance to corrosion, stainless steel is the better option.
Are the slot covers and clean-out slots also made from galvanized steel?
We only offer the slot covers in stainless steel. This can provide additional benefit to customers buying galvanized steel, because it provides the most resistance to the part of the slot drain that is most exposed.
We offer our clean-out slots in a galvanized version so that it perfectly matches with the rest of your slot drain system.
Available load classes for our Galvanized Slot Drains:
Load Class A - pedestrian foot traffic
Load Class B - Residential vehicle traffic (no parking) and yard equipment
Load Class C - Commercial vehicle traffic, residential vehicle parking, buses, and medium duty commercial equipment.
