What is the difference between this system and the other types of slot drains?
While our other slot drains feature a steel slot with a plastic channel, the mini channel drain is a complete stainless-steel system. Due to the slot and channel being all-in-one, the system functions at a much smaller size, which is a huge benefit to projects that are limited on space. The system has many part options, which allow for greater customizability as well.
What is different between this slot cover and the original version?
We offer covers for all of our slot drain systems so that customers can prevent risk of injury on the openings. The difference between these covers and our normal slot drain covers is that the cover can be easily removed from the slot, even after install. While our normal slot cover fits over the slot, this slot cover fits within so that the encasing concrete doesn’t limit its movement.
Do I need connectors and mounting brackets?
The connectors and mounting brackets are both necessary to the installation of a mini trench drain system. The connectors are sold separately and must be used to connect channels together. The mounting brackets are also sold separately and are used to support the slot drain while the encasing concrete is poured.
What outlet options do I have?
The possible outlets for this system are through the end-caps or through a catch basin. Customers can order an open end-cap which features a 2” horizontal outlet. Customers can also connect their mini channel drain to a catch basin, which features a 4” vertical outlet from under the basin.

Load Class A - pedestrian foot traffic
Load Class B - Residential vehicle traffic (no parking) and yard equipment
Load Class C - Vehicle parking and commercial vehicle traffic

SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Channels come with two closed end caps (per order) but there are several additional options to include to build your system:
- Slot Basins (Straight through or 90 degree)
- Channel Connector (Channels do not connect independently and will need a connector to form a system)
- 90 Degree Adapter Channel (Grate option available for adapter channel)
- End-caps (Closed or with outlet)
- Removable slot cover grates (ADA/Heel Proof Available)
- Installation Brackets
What is Mini Slot Drain System?
The Mini Slot Drain System is our new line of slot drains designed to be an all-in-one channel/slot system made completely from stainless steel. This makes the entire system resistant to both corrosion and exposure to chemicals. In buildings where quality, beauty, and functionality are top of mind, it is crucial to have the appropriate drainage solutions that mimic their surroundings. The purpose of a micro or mini channel drain is it to act as an effective drainage system that takes up minimal space and looks seamless.
This product is the perfect pool or patio slot drain, but it has many other applications.
With a length, width, and height of approximately 40 inches, 2.5 inches, and 4 inches respectively, this product is designed to be used in situations where our normal slot drain system would not be possible. The Mini Slot Drain System has many options available, such as channels, 90-degree adapters, basins (straight-through and 90-degree), open/closed end caps, and much more. This allows each mini channel drain to be easily customized to any situation or shape that is needed.
The system also includes the new Vodaland internal grate cover, making it possible for the covers to be removed whenever necessary, even after installation. This will provide you with a much easier cleaning process whenever debris makes its way inside the channel.
Additionally, custom micro slot installation brackets can be purchased to make the installation process much simpler.
